Part one of my two-part Miniseries on the "Under the Stick Move" in hockey. This is, in my opinion, one of the most effective moves in hockey, because it is very hard for the defender to defend the area between his/her skates and stick. In this video, I show you various options while skating in a fairly straight line: 1. Standard backhand to forehand under the stick. 2. Forehand push to under the stick. 3. Off-wing under the stick. In part two I'll be showing you how to do the move out of the corner while skating a curve. Have fun practicing!
